  4. Minimum requirements
  5. PowerPC or Performa running MacOS 7.x.
  6. 10Mb free RAM.
  7. 2 speed multisession CD-ROM drive.
  8. Monitor that supports 16 bit colour at 800x600 resolution.
  9. Quicktime 3 for Macintosh (supplied).

  14. Starting the CD
  15.  
  16. 1.  Put the CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  17. 2.  Double-click the 'Iron Maiden' CD icon on the desktop.
  18. 3.  Double-click the 'double click me' icon.
  19. 4.  The CD will install Quicktime 3 for Macintosh if it is not installed on your computer.

  21. Using the CD

  23. This enhanced CD is split into eight main sections which you can select from the main navigation bar. From the main menu you can link directly to the Iron Maiden website (dependent on your Internet connectivity) by clicking on the flaming icon on the left of the navigation bar.

  25. Video section:

The first video will start playing automatically. You can switch to the other video(s) by clicking on their icon. The video progress bar allows you to jump to a specific point in the movie. You can also adjust the volume or switch between large screen/small screen using the controllers on the right of the navigation bar.

  29. Some CDs contain bonus video excerpts. To access these click the 'ROTATE' button on the navigation bar if present.

  31. Album section:

  33. This section allows you to view the album sleeve, the credits & relevant single information.

  37. This features an exclusive biography written by Mick Wall, author of 'Run to the Hills', the official Iron Maiden biography. You can also navigate around the highly complex family tree, which details the various comings & goings of the band members.

  39. Tour section:

  41. The tourdates for that album are displayed, together with an exclusive gallery. The pictures will display in sequence, or you may select an image by clicking on its icon.

  43. Audio section:

  45. This section allows you to play the audio tracks contained on the disc. Select a track, then click play on the controller. As your CD-ROM drive is accessing two different parts of the same disc, give it a little time!

  49. Each CD contains an exclusive password and a link to a special page on the Iron Maiden website. Why not have a look!

All the album sleeves are featured in an exclusive sequence. You can also play 30 second audio sections of all the songs we feature in the enhanced-CD collection. Clicking the 'ROTATE' button will allow you to view images from the forthcoming 'Ed Hunter' game, link to the Synthetic Dimensions website and view information about the books and videos.
